The body has a fixed front bulkhead and a roof frame, with curtains on both sides that are buckled down along the lower rail. Two metal doors at the back open to a loading dock, so the side curtain can stay shut when you load from behind. Curtains protect the cargo from weather but do not hold it in place; plan your own lashing and anchor points. All sizes on this page are reference figures from the supplied drawing, and the approved production drawing is the final record.

The side curtain and the rear doors work independently, so you can choose the route that suits the dock or the forklift.
Straps run from the curtain down to buckles on the lower side rail. Release them before drawing the curtain back for side loading. The landing leg, side guard and toolbox sit below the curtain line.
The door leaves meet in the centre of the rear opening and are hinged at the outer edges. Use them for dock loading while the side curtain stays closed.
The cargo body sits on a full-length chassis with three axles under the rear of the floor.
Two longitudinal beams run from the coupling section to the rear, joined by crossmembers beneath the loading floor.

A curtain side semi trailer sits between a box van and a flatbed. Like a box van, its roof, front bulkhead, curtains and rear doors keep palletized cargo out of rain and dust. Like a flatbed, the curtains slide back so a forklift can load the full length from the side, without waiting for a rear dock. Choose a box van when you need fully rigid, lockable walls; choose a flatbed for oversized or crane-loaded cargo; choose a curtain side trailer when you move covered pallets and need fast side loading.
